These terms govern your use of Kitana Lite, a brand-review product operated by RepliKit, Inc. (“RepliKit,” “we,” “us”). By starting a free review, signing in, or otherwise using the product, you agree to be bound by them. If you're using Kitana Lite on behalf of a company or team, you're confirming you have the authority to accept these terms for that organisation, and “you” refers to that organisation as well as yourself.
1. Using Kitana Lite
Kitana Lite reviews creative assets against a brand kit: a set of colours, type rules, logo usage, and layout patterns that you either provide directly or that Kitana builds by reading a website you point her at. The service checks each asset you submit against that kit across five dimensions (colour, typography, logo, layout, coherence) and returns a score, a written summary, and a list of what it flagged.
These terms apply the same way regardless of how you arrived here, whether you signed up directly, were invited by a teammate, or started with an anonymous free review before you had an account at all. They apply equally to the Free and Pro plans; the plan you're on changes what features are available, not which rules govern your use of them.
Kitana's output is a design opinion, generated by an automated system, not legal, trademark, or regulatory advice. A clean review does not guarantee an asset is free of intellectual-property issues, accessibility problems, or compliance requirements outside of visual brand consistency. You remain responsible for those checks.
2. Your account
A free review can create an account on your behalf using the email address you provide, without a separate signup step. From the moment that account exists, you're bound by these terms, whether or not you've ever seen a signup form. You're responsible for the accuracy of the email and name you give us, and for keeping that inbox secure. It's how Kitana Lite signs you in.
Kitana Lite doesn't use passwords. Sign-in links are single-use and expire 10 minutes after they're sent; a link that's already been opened, or one older than that window, will ask you to request a new one. You can also sign in with a Google account tied to the same email address. If you believe your account or inbox has been compromised, contact us immediately so we can revoke any outstanding sign-in links.
You may belong to more than one team. Switching teams changes which brand kits and review history you see, but does not create a separate account. Your email remains the single identity Kitana Lite uses to sign you in everywhere.
3. Brand kits & reviews
Assets you upload for review (images, PDFs, and any brand guideline files) are used solely to generate your review and to build or refine the brand kit you're reviewing against. They are not used to train machine-learning models, ours or anyone else's, and they are not shared with other teams or made visible to any RepliKit customer other than your own team.
You retain all ownership and intellectual-property rights in the assets you upload and in your underlying brand materials. You grant RepliKit a limited licence to store, process, and display that content back to you and your teammates for the purpose of running and showing reviews. We claim no ownership over anything you upload or over the written findings Kitana generates about it. That output is yours to use, export, and share.
When Kitana builds a brand kit from a URL, she reads only what's publicly visible on that page at the time of the request. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to have that site analysed for this purpose. Don't point Kitana at a site you don't have permission to use as a brand reference.
4. Billing & cancellation
The Free plan includes one brand kit and two reviews at no cost. It is a one-time allowance rather than a monthly one — it does not refill, and it expires twelve months after signup. Your account's usage meter shows what is left at any given time. The Pro plan is billed monthly in advance and renews automatically on the same date each month until cancelled. Prices are shown, in your account currency, before you upgrade, and any change to Pro pricing will be communicated at least 30 days before it takes effect for existing subscribers.
You can cancel a Pro subscription at any time from Account → Subscription. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current billing period. You keep full Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for, after which your account reverts to Free. Your review history and brand kits are kept, but usage limits apply again going forward.
Failed payments are retried automatically; if a payment continues to fail, we'll email you before any downgrade takes effect. We do not store your card details ourselves; payment processing is handled by our payment provider under its own terms.
5. Acceptable use
Kitana Lite is built for reviewing your own creative work, or work you've been given permission to review, against a real brand kit. You agree not to use the service to upload content you don't have the rights to, to attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the models behind Kitana's review process, or to use automated means to exceed the review limits of your plan.
Free reviews exist so a first-time visitor can see real value before creating an account, not as a way to run unlimited anonymous reviews. We may rate-limit or block free reviews from a given email address, domain, or IP address that we reasonably believe is being used to bypass these limits.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account that violates this section, with notice where practical. If your account is terminated for cause, any active subscription is cancelled without a refund of the remaining period.
6. Liability
Kitana Lite is provided “as is.” We work to keep reviews accurate and the service available, but we don't guarantee that every brand issue will be caught, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that results will be error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RepliKit's total liability arising from your use of Kitana Lite is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or 100 USD if you're on the Free plan.
Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which RepliKit, Inc. is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in effect.
