## What It Does

Kitana Lite answers one question: does this creative match the brand it is supposed to match. It builds a brand kit — colours, type rules, logo usage, layout patterns — from a website or an uploaded guidelines file, then scores each asset you submit against that kit and tells you where it drifts.

The output is a design opinion produced by an automated system. It is not legal, trademark, accessibility or regulatory advice, and a clean review does not mean an asset is clear of those concerns.

### How a review works

1. Point Kitana at a website, or upload a brand guidelines file. She builds a brand kit from it.
2. Submit up to 10 assets in one review.
3. The review takes about two minutes.
4. A report arrives by email and stays in your review history: an overall score, a score per dimension, and per-asset findings.

### What gets checked

Five dimensions, scored per review:

- **Colour** — palette, contrast, and off-palette values
- **Typography** — family, weight, and position in the type scale
- **Logo** — placement, clear space, on-colour usage
- **Layout** — spacing and grid, against the template an asset came from
- **Coherence** — whether a set of assets reads as one campaign. This one is assessed across the set, not per asset.

Scores are banded: Excellent, Good, Needs Work, At Risk, Critical.

A **credit** is one review session of up to 10 assets. One asset and ten assets cost the same single credit. A review costs one credit wherever it is started — web, Slack, MCP or the Figma plugin.

## For AI agents: the Kitana MCP server

Kitana is an MCP server. An agent can run a brand review, read the findings, and compare runs without a person opening the web app.

- Transport: streamable HTTP
- Auth: OAuth 2.1. The first call returns 401; the client discovers the authorization server and the user approves the connection in a browser. Nothing to configure by hand.
- Plan: RepliKit Pro. A workspace without Pro is refused at the consent page, and the connection works again on resubscribe.
- Cost: `run_review` spends one credit per review of up to 10 assets, the same as the web. Every other tool is free.

### Tools

- `run_review`: review 1 to 10 images (URLs, base64, or an upload) against the workspace's brand kit. Returns the score, verdict, five category scores, findings and a report link. Blocks up to 2 minutes; if it is still running, it returns a reviewId for `get_review`.
- `prepare_upload`: signed upload URLs for local files, for clients that cannot attach images.
- `get_review`: one review in full, by id.
- `list_reviews`: the workspace's reviews, newest first.
- `compare_reviews`: two reviews, the change per category, and whether they are comparable.
- `switch_kit`: list the workspace's brand kits and choose the one reviews use.

A finished review carries `report`, a preformatted report for terminals: show it exactly as given.

## Accounts

Sign-in is passwordless. A one-time code is emailed and expires in 10 minutes. An account can be created by a free review without a separate signup step.

## What Kitana Lite does not do

- It does not generate or edit creative work. It reviews it.
- It does not train models on customer assets or guidelines. Uploaded work is used to run that customer's reviews and build their kit, and is never shown to another customer.
- It does not check trademark, accessibility or regulatory compliance.
- The lowest score the engine returns in practice is 30, not 0.
